| Posters and oral presentations |
Guidelines for Oral PresentationsPresentations will be accepted only as electronic files in PowerPoint95 or later versions of the software. We suggest setting up the screen for 35 mm slides. Technical support will be provided on site at the beginning of the conference, to allow delegates to check file compatibility.Guidelines for PostersThere is no limit to the number of posters that an author can present. Posters will have a maximum size of 120 x 100 cm (47" x 39"), portrait page setup. It is recommended to use one complete (eg A0 paper) sheet, rather than multiple smaller sheets. At the top of your poster include the title, author(s) name and affiliations (organisation, city and country). We suggest the poster title be at least 2.5 cm high. Lettering for the author’s name and affiliations may be smaller. Including a photograph of the presenting author helps participants to identify the person to talk during the meetings. The smallest lettering on the poster should be no less than 10 mm high. Illustrations should be visible from a 1m viewing distance. We suggest authors bring at least 20 small copies (eg. A4 size) of your poster to give to interested participants. Travelling without Posters If you want to travel without your poster, we can take care of everything. You will just need to send a 900x1200 pixels file (PDF or JPG format) to sest2009(a)gmail.com before September, 10th. The cost of this service is 40€ and you will receive your poster at the venue once you have reimbursed the corresponding fee. Files over 10 Mbs should be sent through FTP services (if you don't have one, you can try online storages like Mediafire.com, GigaSize.com, Divshare.com, 4shared.com, etc.) or CD/DVD.
